Paintline Unloader

Location: Zeeland, MI
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:15 AM–5:45 PM | 4 Days/Week
Schedule: Rotating days Monday–Friday
Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Summary

Are you dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment? We're seeking a Paintline Unloader to join our team in Zeeland, MI. In this role, you'll remove finished furniture parts from the paint line, carefully handle and stack products, and help keep production moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to keep up with the pace of the paint line while maintaining product quality.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Paintline Unloader, your core responsibilities will include:

• Paint Line Unloading: Remove finished furniture parts from the paint line after the finishing process is complete.
• Product Handling: Carefully handle and stack finished parts to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
• Quality Awareness: Monitor finished parts while unloading and handle products carefully to protect the finished surface.
• Production Flow: Maintain a steady pace to keep up with the paint line and prevent production delays.
• Production Support: Work with other team members to keep materials and finished products moving efficiently through production.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety and quality procedures.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to work a 4-day schedule with rotating days Monday–Friday.
• Ability to maintain a steady pace throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a production environment.

Skills

• Attention to Detail: Carefully handle finished furniture parts to prevent damage and maintain product quality.
• Material Handling: Ability to safely unload, move, and stack finished parts throughout the production process.
• Production Pace: Ability to keep up with the speed of the paint line and maintain efficient workflow.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other production team members to keep operations running smoothly.
• Dependability: Strong attendance and work ethic to consistently support production needs.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following established workplace and production safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to maintain a steady production pace while safely handling finished furniture parts.
