We are seeking a reliable and skilled Vacuum Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will expertly operate vacuum trucks while upholding a strong commitment to safety and compliance with traffic regulations. This role demands punctual and efficient delivery of freight to designated locations, with opportunities for frequent overtime and weekend work. Limited housing is available for qualified out-of-town drivers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive vacuum trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and fuel consumption per DOT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and delays.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
• Utilize manual transmission when required for specific truck types.
• Ensure cleanliness and routine maintenance of assigned vehicles.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training experience.
• Tanker Endorsement (N).
• Experience with vacuum truck driving and vehicle inspection.
• Knowledge of freight handling and safety compliance procedures.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in manual transmission operation.
• Experience maintaining driving logbooks accurately.
